It isn't easy to be a teen today, but the Youth Ministry of First Baptist Church is committed to today's young person. Under the leadership of Rich Giersch and the Youth Council, our youth are being prepared for the next step in life at First Baptist Church. The activities we provide will prepare our youth for a life of serving Christ. The key ingredients of our Youth Ministry are missions, spiritual growth and team building. The ministry seeks to guide and nurture students in their walk with the Lord through weekly Bible studies, activities and worship. An annual mission trip, ski trip, lock-ins and other fellowship activities provide many opportunities for our youth to foster leadership skills, social awareness, and spiritual growth. Parents are the key to a well-rounded and comprehensive youth program. The program encourages parent involvement and participation on many levels.
Rich Giersch is working part-time with our youth and is in the church office on Monday mornings and Wednesday afternoons. He can be reach by phone in the church office at 336-838-5197 or his cell phone 336-262-0844. His email address is richfbc@charterinternet.com.
